Mother Teresa Samajik Vikas Sanstha is a registered public trust and society working in a field of community development in Pune District in a state of Maharashtra, India.The major focus of organization work is on Human Resource Development of the deprived class of the society. The organization stand to be committed to the cause of social transformation and changes, through voluntary interventions since its inception.
The organization undertakes various social welfare and developmental activities, through its different programmes for, needy destitutes women, backward, handicapped and poorest sections of the society, with special attention to the backward and neglected community.
The trust is registered under Public Trust Act, 1950 Reg. No.F8433 dated 02.05.2000 and under Societies Registration Act, 1860 under the Govt. Of Maharashtra vide registration no. MAH/10426 dated 29.03.2003. We are also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 vide registration no. 083910113 dated 16.07.2008. Donations to the organization are eligible for deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

All children, particularly orphans, need a safe place to grow. Caring for orphans and nurturing them with the basics like food and clean clothes, and access to education, increases the likelihood of them becoming positive members of their communities. Changing their narrative from being vulnerable to resilient.
Most of the time, children are left in orphanages because their widowed mother cannot afford to take care of them and their fathers are gone through disease or conflict. These widows put their trust in the orphanage to feed, clothe and educate their children and provide them with a stronger start in life.
