About Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa Charitable Trust (the “Trust”) is a registered public trust and society which was founded in the year 2000. The Trust runs care homes for at-risk homeless children and women who have been abandoned, trafficked or have lost their home and family to poverty, drug/alcohol abuse. Founded by Mr. Badame the Trust is currently sheltering 35+ girls in its self funded facility
in Chimbli.
The Trust has received a donation of ~ 1 acre of land form a local donor from the village. The Trust is currently aided by small government grants and self funding by the trustee and local donors. The trust has built a temporary facility to shelter the girls and is striving hard to improve the facility.

The objective is to not only help these young girls “live” but also Flourish their life while giving the opportunity to have access to a normal day-to-day facilities like play ground, fresh and good food, vocational training, computer skills, etc.

Trust Values & Vision
The trust which has got necessary approvals from the department of “Women and Child Welfare” wants to built a Stateof-the-Art facility for the girls where they feel homely, safe, secured.
The Vision is to make the girls competent for tomorrows challenges and to nurture in a home like environment so that are better accepted in the mainstream society.
